A brand that has created a lot of buzz in the perfume world in the last two years is Fort & Manle. The fragrances are excellent and honestly understand that this is not a stereotypical niche. Indeed, when you hold one of the bottles of this brand in your hand, you can feel the heart and love from which something so beautiful is created. Then of course comes the moment when that fragrance is placed on the skin and literally conquered by its charm. So who is behind this successful brand? Where does he get his inspiration from? Here are all the answers. The man behind the brand - Rasei Fort is a name that is constantly surprising in its beautiful, original fragrances. He discovered his passion for fragrances in 2005 while visiting Saudi Arabia. During his stay there he researched many perfumeries that specialized in atarim (fragrance oils) and agrove (oud), and thus was born his passionate love for fragrances. Returning to Melbourne, he decided to sell imported oils from Saudi Arabia and set up his own business called Rose Desert. The business was not particularly successful, so after selling its inventory, it began to delve into the world of niche fragrances and collect perfumes from many niche homes. He testifies to himself that before creating perfumes he was an avid collector, so he made sure to smell a great many fragrances. Over the years, however, he felt a strong desire to experiment with his own works. Thus what began as a hobby soon became a form of sensory art. Family and friends often complimented his work and even asked for fragrances to order, but in his mind's eye he never felt that his works matched the luxury brands he had in the collection. Due to the abundance of fragrances on the market he realized that in order to produce a product that is truly exceptional, he would have to find only the best raw materials available. His goal was to achieve the smoothness and transparency he encountered in most contemporary compositions. As an autodidact it was not an easy thing to do, but six years later (and a lot of experimentation) he finally felt confident enough to launch his Fort & Manle brand. Probably due to the fact that he is not a classic trainer, and does not really know what the rules are in making a perfume, he creates something different, new and bold. The philosophy behind Fort & Manle: The perfumes allowed Rasei to express his inspirations, impressions, personal experiences and explore his creativity and clearly what his brand's philosophy is. For him it is a luxurious perfume house whose philosophy is to constantly create a luxurious perfume with individualistic, eclectic and often eccentric handwork. This is an independent, artistic perfume house, founded and fully owned. The home is a fusion of minds, ideas, ideals and spirit. He continually cultivates a diverse pop culture, history and cultures, including a rich Turkish heritage by scanning the world in search of the finest raw materials and combining them with his inspirations. Since it was an unknown brand, it had to create an aesthetic that would set it apart from all the others. So at some point he made the decision to imprint the name of the perfume on metal plates. How do you get an idea for a perfume? He says the idea for Fort & Manle perfumes begins with the idea as he anticipates how the final product will smell and begins to create the foundation that embodies this concept. He then carefully combines the heart and the top notes accordingly. This often requires many variations of the fragrance, adding different characters as the fragrance develops. He gets his inspiration in different ways. From personal journeys, experiences, places and cultures, or he just falls in love with a raw material and wants to build a fragrance around it. In other cases it simply turns to history and creates an appropriate fragrance for the period.
