Masque Milano is a perfume house founded by two people who shared common passions. Passions for hiking, reading, music, design objects, natural materials, and handmade details. In fact, they are two sworn dreamers, who have decided to revive their feelings. In 2010 - after years of researching fragrances and extracts in grass and throughout Italy, they established their brand and learned how to schedule a wide and diverse group of performers and artists. The two are Riccardo Tedeschi and Alessandro Brun. They came from a seemingly very different background, and they stand behind the successful brand Masque Milano. Alessandro was born and raised in Milan, and developed the belief that Milan, the capital of Lombardy, is the center of the world. As a child he loved to listen to music and write poetry with his mother, and to stare at his father, the glassblower master, in his workshop when he created magical glass artefacts. After his teens, came the experience that changed his life forever. It was his school year in England, where he enjoyed meeting extraordinary people, but also spending some time of quiet and introspection. He fell in love with England, its climate, pubs and Gothic literature. Upon his return to Milan he graduated and became a professor at the Polytechnic di Milano, so he was invited to lecture in several countries. The trip provided him with unforgettable experiences, which he wrote down in his travel diary. He focused his scientific research on the management of luxury products, and developed first-hand knowledge of the Italian artisan heritage in leather research - taught the technique of sewing saddles - and the art of goldsmithing as reflected in the design and creation of handmade jewelry. After all these personal experiences, Alessandro was even more convinced that every artist workshop has a legacy of priceless knowledge, which must be preserved and utilized. So make sure to join forces with Ricardo, to create something unique, with the ultimate goal of letting the whole world experience the excellence of Italian produce as they watch the financial crisis that hit Italy hard, the two continued to work stubbornly on their dream. Ricardo, on the other hand, was born in Assisi, a medieval fortress town between Florence and Rome. He grew up in the heart of this Italian village until the age of 25. He was an avid lover of visual arts, literature, music and mathematics, but he did his master's degree in electronics engineering from the University of Perugia. So one summer evening in Florence, Ricardo met Natasha, an Australian girl who made him follow her to Melbourne and enroll in the University of Monash. In Australia, he discovered the exciting world of perfumes: Natasha's work at MOR Cosmetics exposed him to a fascinating, new and unexplored dimension for him. And so Ricardo found his inspiration and his way. Upon his return to Italy, he moved to the bustling city of Milan where he worked as a consultant when his first appointment was in a cosmetics group, a role that gave him the opportunity to understand the activities of luxury perfume brands like Dior, Garlin, Kenzo, Givenchy and Aqua di Pharma. At that time he received a master's degree in business administration from the School of Business at Politico Di Milano and met Alessandro, the eclectic and young professor who soon gained respect and admiration on his part. The friendship between Alessandro and Ricardo grew stronger, and their shared passions for art and perfume encouraged them to set up their own perfume house, a free expression of creativity. Masque Milano was born on April 1, 2010 when his headquarters were located in Milan. The brand's eighteen perfumes were created in collaboration with perfumes Dolphin Thierry, Julien Resquint, Bruno Juvanovic, Fanny Ball, Vanina Murchiol, Giuseppe Imperzabil, Christian Carbonell, Luca Muffy, Caroline Demor, Cristiano Zanucelli, Cristiano Zucanelli, to me.
