Nasomatto or actually "crazy nose" in Italian is a brand of exceptional perfume artist named Alessandro Guattieri, who created fragrances for Versace, Valentino, Helmut Lant, Fendi, Diesel and many others. But his unique approach led him to decide on his own independent path, which has quite a few radical scents and out-of-the-box thinking. He was able to build a successful career by signing his name to some of the perfumery works produced for the top names in the field of perfume and fashion. But despite the fact that niche brands and great designers joined his name, his slightly more radical approach, along with his desire to create something of his own, build a different and different product so far, or as Guattieri himself admitted he simply wanted to "get out of the bottle." On his unique approach to perfumery, one can learn from Guattieri's words that say: "I start doing something but at some point it starts making choices on its own. It's the process that interests me and guides me. I love the feeling of losing control and I'm not the one making the choices. It's to create something that is alive and able to say new things. I want my perfumes to have their own intelligence, and not just slaves to my meaning. " Armed with this approach, Guattieri turned the vision into a brand. The founding of the Nasomatto Guatieri brand established its brand in Amsterdam in 2007 and called it Nasomatto(in Italian “crazy nose”). His first series of fragrances came out later that year, and since then, about 12 have been created in different skies. From the special names given to these perfumes, one can infer something about the uniqueness of this brand. "I found out that there were people who learned to prepare in heaven - but only of a certain kind and then make endless variations on this," he said in one of his interviews with him. Which means that for him, he's not looking to do the same again.
