So what is her secret, and how does she do it? We set out to find out. Self-taught Francesca Bianchi is an autodidact who taught herself to become a perfumer. Born into an artistic family, she decided to study art history in Florence, and after graduating, discovered her passion for making perfume. It began with reading a book about natural perfumes and essential oils, and continued with experiments in the lab. Francesca soon realized that she had embarked on a huge journey, full of obstacles and frustrations. She dealt with this by focusing on specific projects and trying to expand her knowledge, while understanding that she would not always be able to master everything. Disciplined and persistent, she began using many technical books, but admits that she also turned to fellow perfumers and friends, who gave her a great deal of valuable information. Two of them are Roberto Dario and Giovanni Sammarco. She also admits that the most important cornerstone of this ambitious undertaking is her artistic vision. Francesca Bianchi - The secret of perfume So what is the secret? According to Francesca, it lies in the constant search for high-quality raw materials. This is essential to achieving a wonderful result. Her perfumes are created in her laboratory in Amsterdam, and once the formula is ready, she takes the trouble to order the raw materials so she can blend them. The concentrate that is created is then sent to an artisanal atelier in Italy, which adds it to alcohol, lets it age and then takes care of packaging it. She says that creating a perfume is a very long and complex process that requires almost living like a nun. To devise a formula she blends, she has to hold her breath with every drop she adds, just as in a sacred ritual. Between Amsterdam and Tuscany In her life, Francesca Bianchi has lived in many cities, including Florence, Berlin and Luxembourg. Early in her career, she worked for an art book publisher, but when she arrived in Amsterdam, she decided to create her own perfume line. She says the city is reflected in her perfumes through the principle of Dutch freedom, where no one imposes values on you, but you must respect the values of others. However, the chance to spend time with people who find peace and freedom in defining their identity and their work, but also in their sexual and sexual tastes, this relaxation without definitely influenced her path and the way she expresses the sensual pleasure of scent. From Tuscany, she brings the scent of lavender, honeysuckle, roses from her mother's garden, chamomile fields near the house, and wild fennel she went looking for in the fields with her grandmother, the scent of incense and stone in the church, the smell of wine and more.
